Pastor Reggie C. Witherspoon, Sr. was born in Seattle, Washington. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1976 and preached his first sermon on September 21, 1980. He became a licensed minister in 1982, and was ordained in April 1984, under the administration of Bishop T. L. Westbrook. Pastor Witherspoon, First Lady Laura Witherspoon and the ministry are committed to the success of the family and young people. Following an initial interview, with his eldest son, Reggie, Jr., who declared his dad as his role model, the Seattle Times interviewed Pastor Witherspoon for a feature article regarding their relationship and wanted to learn more about how he has influenced the lives of his children. In addition, his youngest son and he were featured in a local commercial about the importance of fathers in the lives of their children.

Daddy,
Just wanted to tell you I love you and I am proud to say that you are my father! You have made a tremendous impact on my life and I want you and the world to know that. I strive everyday to accomplish the short, mid, and long term goals I have set out to achieve. But ultimately, I want you to be proud of me. My life consist of performing for and representing an audience of two. That would be you and mom. I attempt everyday to look like Christ because that's what my word tells me to do. But, in the natural I want to look like you. When people see me from a distance I want them to see some of you in me and definitely Christ. I cannot wait for you and my Twoman to come watch my show next week. I assure you I'm going to make you proud. I'm going to preach my behind off in this show. But little do people know.......I'm really going to be under the anointing; even though I'm going to be in character!! Every time I think about you I get tears in my eyes because I am so proud of you. You have came a log way and I give all the praise to God for where he has taken you and where is going to take you. You are truly anointed and blessed!
As I sit here and write this message, I am really trying to find the best words to say how proud I am of you. But no matter what I say there is no words that can describe how great of a father you are as well as a pastor and friend. Daddy I love you so much…you are phenomenal, astronomical, awesome, amazing, tremendous, you are “the bomb”. You and mom are my heart and as long as I am on this planet, I will always make you guys proud.
You and mom have worked so hard to be where you are and that shows me that the sky is the limit and I can do and be whatever I want. You and mom push me to be nothing but the best in life. You are in a position where everybody is watching you. I have watched you become one of the best pastors in the world! I know God has nothing but greatness on your life and the best is yet to come.
I am excited for you daddy and there is no greater feeling to sit back and say “that’s my daddy”. The best thing about you, you have the best person by your side and that is MOM! You couldn’t have picked a better wife! Mom is amazing, she is strong, humble, beautiful, hard working, classy, stylish, SHE is “the bomb”. I miss you guys so much and I cant wait to see you. So to the best daddy ever, I want to say keep up the good work! I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!!!!!!
